My story and my mission:  after over 20 years in the financial services industry, I am convinced that I can help you, if you are serious and willing to devote a moderate amount of time upfront and then, once you have "set yourself up" to spend a few hours a month to protect and monitor what most people consider their third most important asset in their lives: MONEY!

Besides our families and our health, I have found through meeting with over 10,000 families and individuals, money is on the forefront of most people's minds.  People with wealth want to protect it, make it grow and pass it on.  People who live paycheck to paycheck constantly live with the stress of an unexpected bill or emergency.  This website will give advice to the latter group, but just like one must exercise and eat right to be healthy, the same applies to the management of one's money:  motivation must come from within.  The primary focus of this site is help those who have helped themselves and managed to save and nurture their nest egg.

As I mentioned, I was a financial advisor for over 20 years.  My previous employer let me go over the guise of a non-investment related paperwork issue because I refused to sell the "managed" money they wanted me to push.  I will debunk the pusher of managed money, most mutual funds and hedge funds.  All they care about is getting your money and making fees off of your money.  And as your money grows with them (more slowly because of the exponential drag that occurs as your money compounds), the more and more of you nest egg is siphoned away from you.  We will also the good and the bad aspects of the insurance industry, steering you towards products that you actually need to protect you and your family and steering you far away from the high commission, high fee products that benefits the broker and the insurance company at your expense.
